Which Vendors You Need to Book First for your Salt Lake City Wedding

When planning for your big day it’s hard to know who to schedule first and what is the most important out of all the vendors. These are some of the most important vendors to get scheduled first and the reasons why you should book them before all other vendors.

Planner/Coordinator

This is the most important vendor to book and the reason being is that wedding planners/coordinators book up fast and you want to be sure you get the planner/coordinator you want who can meet your budget, needs, and wedding date. The planner is the one who will help you schedule and lay out your big day and help you stay on budget along the wedding process journey.

Venue

This is the next most important because this is where you host your wedding and/or reception. During certain seasons especially, venues can fill up fast. You will want to consider the season and your dream location that you are wanting and plan ahead and begin investing in the venue. This is the place that will set the scene for your big day.

Photographer/ videographer

As all vendors, photographers/videographers book quickly as well. Photographers only have limited dates available so you want to be sure you find one who can meet your wants for your big day and be available for the date you have set. They are the ones who will help capture all those big moments such as your first dance together and your first kiss after the I Do’s.

Caterer

Beyond celebrating you and your husband's marriage with you both, your guests will want to eat and drink. It is an absolute must that you have a caterer. Especially because the both of you will be hungry too and ready to party with some good drinks. You will want to be sure that your favorite spot can cater at your reception so getting them booked as soon as you can is important.

Florist

Your florist is where you’re going to get your bouquets, centerpieces, ceremony arrangements, and boutonnieres. You’ll want to be sure to book them quickly as they are the ones to bring your color scheme and theme to life for your big day.

With so many choices for vendors and different needs for brides and seasons, vendors are your go to. They help make your big day come to life. Knowing when they need to be booked can be hard and in what order can be the hardest part when planning your big day. Whenever in doubt you can always speak with your planner/coordinator and you both can decide what works best for your wedding.
